Crisisnoodopvang 's-Gravenhage (Molenstraat)
The Park Hotel (Park Centraal) on the Molenstraat in The Hague city centre was converted into a crisis reception location (crisisnoodopvang) in October 2022, initially housing 40 asylum seekers alongside the nearby Pink Flamingo Hostel on the Boterstraat under the city's regional crisis-shelter obligation. Operated with on-site security and social support, the arrangement has been extended several times; in July 2025 the municipality confirmed the Molenstraat and Boterstraat sites would continue until March 2026.

Cost
Dutch asylum reception is funded by central government through the COA. At an illustrative benchmark of about €184 per person per night for emergency reception (noodopvang), the 29 people recorded here on 13 August 2025 imply roughly €1.9m per year. This is an order-of-magnitude figure for context only, not a site-specific invoice — emergency reception typically runs around three times the cost of a regular centre.
