France asylum accommodation

78 documented sites in the French reception system, grouped by the categories the system itself uses. Each links to a sourced profile. Accommodation is organised nationally through the Dispositif National d’Accueil, coordinated by OFII, so a site's category determines who may be placed there.

Other named hotels in use · 6

Large sites · 12

Camps and informal settlements · 13

Documented encampments rather than accommodation the state provides. Included because their location and history are part of the public record.

Other sites · 4

CRA, immigration detention · 1

NOT accommodation. A centre de rétention administrative holds people pending removal from France, and its places are never counted as accommodation capacity.

Coordinates are town or street level where an exact address is not published, and every site records its source. Closed and contested sites are kept on the map and marked as such rather than deleted, so the history of a building stays visible.
