Uso histórico. Este establecimiento turístico se utilizó para alojamiento temporal de migrantes en 2020-21, a petición de Cruz Roja, mientras se preparaban los recursos estatales. No consta que se utilice para acogida en la actualidad. Los hechos recogidos aquí proceden de la prensa canaria de la época y de la sentencia del Tribunal Supremo STS 197/2023, cuyo objeto era un conflicto laboral de personal de seguridad y no la conducta del establecimiento.

Spain's Supreme Court listed the complex among the establishments where the Red Cross managed temporary migrant accommodation, in a judgment resolving a collective-dismissal claim brought by security staff. The case concerned the security contractors, not the hotel.
