Ballysimon Centre (former Roadbridge premises)
The Ballysimon Centre is listed by IPAS in the gov.ie 2025 County Limerick inspection collection as an international-protection accommodation centre. According to the Limerick Post and the Irish Times (2024), the site is the former Roadbridge building contractors' premises on the Ballysimon Road, vacant since Roadbridge closed in 2022, being converted to provide six ground-floor residential units for up to 133 people seeking international protection. The Irish Times reported in September 2024 that the Department of Integration said a contract was in place at the Ballysimon site to bring it into use, distinct from the separate Charlotte's Quay (River House) location in the city.
