Department inspection notes damp, overcrowding and ongoing works
According to Clare FM (April 2026), a Department of Justice IPAS inspection of the Burren Castle Hotel carried out in November 2025 noted damp conditions and overcrowding in some rooms, cracked walls, and evidence of works being carried out while residents were in situ.
