Protected disclosure over contracted rooms
Per the Irish Examiner, up to seven State-contracted rooms were instead occupied by hotel staff, and a protected disclosure followed claims that staff were told to vacate before an inspection. The Garda National Economic Crime Bureau was assessing the matter; there was no criminal investigation at that time and the company said the matter was resolved.
