Auberge de la Mandrie (CADA, ex hotel-restaurant)

Lieu-dit La Mandrie, Route de Périgueux (D7), 19230 Beyssenac · National

According to France 3 Nouvelle-Aquitaine / franceinfo and France Bleu (Feb–Apr 2023), the former hotel-restaurant 'Auberge de la Mandrie' on the edge of the village (357 inhabitants) was bought by the association Viltaïs (~560,000 euros) and turned into a 40-place CADA for asylum seekers, with the first residents arriving in April 2023. The project drew rival demonstrations on 25 February 2023 — a far-right 'Sauvons Beyssac' rally backed by Reconquête and Les Patriotes against, and a pro-reception counter-gathering — and the mayor's later attempt to pre-empt the building was blocked by the prefecture.
