According to France Bleu and France 3 Occitanie (2018), tents of asylum seekers -- reporting cited around fifty people, many of Albanian origin -- were set up at the foot of the buildings of the cité Roguet in the Saint-Cyprien district of Toulouse after the end of the winter eviction truce. The encampment divided residents, with some organising to help and others hostile, and incidents of objects thrown at the migrants were reported.

Court-ordered evacuation of the Cite Roguet camp
According to Cent pour Cent (2 October 2018), police evacuated the Cite Roguet site in the Saint-Cyprien district of Toulouse from 6am on 2 October 2018, with around a dozen CRS vans; roughly 60 asylum seekers, mostly Albanian and including some 30 children, were taken in by state services after a Toulouse court ruling in July 2018 had given the squatters two months to leave.
