According to the City of Paris (paris.fr), the Ivry-sur-Seine emergency accommodation centre, run by Emmaüs Solidarité on a former Eau de Paris site, opened on 19 January 2017 to house single women, families and couples in modular wooden buildings, with a capacity of around 400 people. It has sheltered several thousand people since opening.
