According to France 3 Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and Marsactu (2017), the conversion of this former Formule 1 hotel in the Gémenos business park into an Adoma-run PRAHDA caused considerable controversy in the town (~6,000 inhabitants) when it opened in 2017; LR mayor Roland Giberti joined the prefect's follow-up committee and tensions eased within months.
