According to InfoMigrants and France Bleu (early 2023), a project to open a CADA of about 40 places in a former inn in this Corrèze village of roughly 350 residents drew tension and a protest on 18 February 2023 supported by the far-right Reconquête and Les Patriotes, countered by a gathering of residents favourable to the centre. The mayor said he was told the decision was already validated.

Far-right rally and antifascist counter-protest
According to the Maison des Droits de l'Homme de Limoges (24 February 2023), a far-right rally called by Reconquete and l'Action francaise was held outside Beyssenac town hall on 25 February 2023 against the planned CADA at the former Auberge de la Mandrie, with an antifascist counter-demonstration organised by the Collectif Chabatz d'Entrar at the same time.

According to ICI / France Bleu (12 April 2023), the first asylum seekers arrived at the 40-place CADA in the former Auberge de la Mandrie around 11-12 April 2023 - six women, one with a baby, from Congo-Brazzaville, Ivory Coast, Guinea and Syria - despite sustained local opposition backed by far-right parties.
