Noodopvang Loozen (Roskampweg)
Bungalow park De Roskamp on the Roskampweg in Loozen (municipality of Hardenberg) served as COA emergency reception from November 2022, housing up to 100 asylum seekers and status holders in around 19 cottages. In late March 2026 the location was wound down: the last residents were moved elsewhere and the municipality confirmed the site was empty, ending a threatened penalty tied to that location.

Loozen emergency reception empty as Hardenberg penalty mounts
Hart van Nederland reported the Loozen site on De Roskamp had been emptied in late March 2026, its last five residents moved on, removing a threatened penalty for that location; a much larger separate dwangsom related to the main AZC Hardenberg, which had not yet closed.

Cost
Dutch asylum reception is funded by central government through the COA. At an illustrative benchmark of about €184 per person per night for emergency reception (noodopvang), the 53 people recorded here on 13 August 2025 imply roughly €3.6m per year. This is an order-of-magnitude figure for context only, not a site-specific invoice — emergency reception typically runs around three times the cost of a regular centre.
