Poland reception centres for foreigners
Documented centres for people in the asylum procedure: 9. Border Guard detention sites, listed apart: 7. The reception centres are run by the Office for Foreigners (UdSC). For each of them the Interior Ministry gives the number of residents on 31 December 2025 and the running cost for 2025. Capacity is published only as a total, so no centre shows a capacity of its own for 2025. The detention sites hold people pending removal and are not accommodation; their places and the numbers held are dated on their pages.

The running costs shown exclude staff wages and the allowances paid to people living outside the centres, so they are not the whole cost of Polish reception. On 31 December 2025, 716 people lived in the nine centres and 6,061 other people received support while living outside them (AIDA), so most people receiving support live outside the centres mapped here. Border Guard detention is custody pending removal, not accommodation, and is never counted in any capacity figure. The detention list includes sites that are out of use, each with its status and date.
